La compagnie Mekong River Cruises a lancé les premières croisières longue distance sur le Haut-Mékong. Plusieurs circuits ont été concoctés pour une vraie découverte de la région, depuis Chiang Saen en Thaïlande au coeur du Triangle d'Or, jusqu'à Luang Prabang, l'ancienne cité royale et Vientiane, la capitale. Se sont ajoutées deux nouvelles routes : "Vientiane - Savannakhet", et le Sud Laos de Paksé à Khone Phapheng, les fameuses chutes du Mékong. |
Mekong River Cruises launched the first Laotian long-distance river cruise of all times on the upper Mekong. On the mother of all waters the ship sails on different routes between Chiang Saen in Thailand in the heart of the Golden Triangle, the royal city of Luang Prabang and the Laotian capital Vientiane. Two new routes have been added : Vientiane - Savannakhet and Pakse in southern Laos to Phapheng Khone, the famous waterfalls of the Mekong.
